WILDERNESS STATE PARK PICKING PARTY
WILDERNESS STATE PARK
Wilderness State Park is one of the more remote of Michigan’s state parks and is a spectacular spot for rockhounding. While some of its beaches are sandy, near the end of the point the beach turns rocky and has some of the best beach stones you’ll find south of the Bridge… even as you gaze at the Mighty Mac the whole while. It’s an interesting combination of remotely wild and easily accessible.
